Up Your Alley
Was a fun day, I met David for breakfast. Ran into Morty and his partner and the 4 of us enjoyed breakfast and good conversation.
Home for a change. David had his harness, collar & leash, along with his new gauntlets and new boots. Woof!
I wore my harness, leather pants, boots, along with my flashing dog bone necklace that is always a hit.
So finally to the fair where we met up with the rest of the puppies for some quick bonding time before everyone disappeared on their own.
Coctails at Powerhouse, over to the Eagle, and finally back to Castro where we finally ended the day, grabbed food, and went back to my place to watch Buffy. Dopplergangland seemed most appropriate for the day.

A Super Hero Day

So Sunday was the day! John and I planned on getting dressed in our spandex suits. Me in my Aquaman, and he in his black striped suit. I was up early, showered, and out the door to meet him by 9. We had about 6 of us who were heading to see Spiderman 3 on the IMAX and then over to the Castro Patrol fundraiser at truck which had a superhero theme. Couldnt beat those two things back to back.
First breakfast with John, Scott, Kenji, and myself. We grabbed a bite at Orphan Andys and headed to the theater. kenji went home and was planning on meeting us at the party later.
At the theater, it was spunky, Jason, Ian, John, Scotty, and myself. I thought the movie was great with a few exceptions. I agreed with some of the reviews about the earlier fight scenes being too close up and too distracting to the point I couldnt really see what was happening. Despite that, I enjoyed the story line and enjoyed the villans more than they gave credit for.
After the movie, we headed over to Truck. Truck just opened about a month ago and they were hosting a fund raiser for Castro on Patrol. The theme was superheros abd because John and I both volunteer, we thought it would be fun to show up and support the group. Although the bar was smaller than I expected, it still felt pretty easy to get a drink, get outside to smoke, and mingle with people I enjoy. Although I dont really think its a leather bar, I did manage to see a lot of people from the leather community there to support it. There were also lots of great superhero costumes from 2 Green Lanterns, a couple of Batmans, Superman, Flash the bartender, and I didnt get this one till kenji told me, One guy was The First Slayer (from Buffy).
Ian, Jason, and I left around 7:30. I didnt want to be in that area after dark and riding BART with an Aquaman outfit on. I got a lot of attention, a lot of looks, a lot of people wanting their picture with me. I felt like a celebrity and desperately craved my normal life at the end of the day. I stopped at Edge for a quickie and the Daddys, and finally home.
This morning I start my new job. What a great way to begin a new week.
Oh and thank you John for my first 3 comics of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 8 (in comic form). WOOF!

Jolly Ho Ho Ho
So Thursday night I layed down for a nap around 7:30. I was tired and figured it would help. I woke up briefly after about an hour but realized I needed to take my contacts out and went back to sleep. I woke up at 3:30am and of course had to stay up. Needless to say, I went to work, came home, and had to get ready for Jolly Ho last night. Total awake time is 22 hours. Ouch!
The event was fun however I think the rain kept people home. We raised about $1000 for PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support), and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Rick began his birthday weekend celebration by dressing for the occasion. Timm was there as well dressed as a pirate. They both looked great and it was nice to see at least a couple of people who got into the pirate theme.
This morning was brunch. I organized a brunch of friends to get together for Ricks birthday. It was nice seeing several people, and there were 13 of us all together. While waiting outside with a few of our party, I ran into Master Jim with shadow, duke, and spike who were also having brunch at Chow.
Finally we all made it, some were late, and it turned out to be a lot of fun. Among the people there were Matt, Luis, Jason C, Josh, Randy, Mitch, Roger, John, Rob, Rick, Tim, Mark (I think that was his name, he came with Josh & Randy) and me.
After brunch, Jason invited us to play games at his house and not just naughty games. Real games (although some of us still played a little bit of those naughty ones). I mean, come on, an apartment full of cute guys? What would you do?
After about 2 hours there, I came left, met John again at Joes barber shop to try on jackets for the Community Patrol. Once that was done and out of the way, I came home. I was originally going to head to the Lone Star for beer bust but the rain got the best of me. I layed down for about an hour and a half and decided no beer bust for me today. I may go out later but for now, its relaxing being home. The roommies are away and its kind of nice having the place to myself.

Halloween
So I made my own costume this year. As many have known I'm an Invader Zim fan and I love GIR. So I decided to be him for Halloween.
I realized really early that people either recognized him or not. Some thought I was a frog or Gumbi but when it came right down to it, the people knew GIR were screaming GIR from across the street.
We went down to Castro for my first Halloween in Castro experience. I always went out for the "gay" halloween the Saturday before but always stayed home on Halloween night for safety reasons. There has always been trouble from straight, ghetto people, who invade the area. Last night I heard a guy say "Its all about the pussy" while standing in front of a gay bar, in the heart of the gay district.
So I met up with Ace, we walked around for a bit and then headed south of Market. We met Matt at The Hole in the Wall and went to the Eagle. Finally we around 10:30 we ended up at the Powerhouse.
It was fun and I had a few drinks and finally I decided to enter the costume contest. Out of about 25 contestants, lots of drag, and several really great costumes, I somehow managed to come in first.
It really took me by surprise because of how few people recognized my costume yet there were people who apparently were really big fans. As they were still calling contestants back on stage, people were chanting GIR, GIR, Gir.
So I won $100 (and I got a blow job on stage while it was all going on). Who knew GIR was so popular.

GIR
Craig arrived from Atlanta on Saturday afternoon. Its been great seeing him again. Last time he was here it was about a year and a half ago.
Craig, Steve, David, and I went out in costume Saturday. It was the "gay" Halloween in Castro (not to be confused with the night the straight people from the city and east bay come into Castro and cause trouble in our neighborhood). We stopped at Daddys first (440 Castro for those who wish to call it that) and then to the Mixx and met up with Matt (aka Bat Fag that night). I didnt seem to be doing too well but none the less I went over to Powerhouse with them in which I stayed about 10 minutes and then realized how sick I was feeling.
Im not sure what it was but for some reason I was feeling drunker and sicker than normal and I didnt really drink all that much. I quickly caught a cab and came home.
Yesterday was the Handler/pup outing to Six Flags Marine World. There was about 10 people who showed up and it was great to spend the day with them. The last frieght fest was the last time I had been to Six Flags. Next outing will be Laser Tag. Oh boy!!!!
So back to work this morning. This week seems pretty busy for me. Tomorrow is Halloween and Im still debating on going out in Castro. I have avoided it for two years because of all the true horror stories Ive heard with people getting stabbed, and killed. It will be a mad house but we shall see.
Wednesday I made plans with my friend Jason and Thursday will be the Sisters Revival Bingo which Im planning on going to. Friday night my friend John wants to host a few pups at his place for a movie night. Saturday my friend Jason who moved back to Sacramento will be around for a bit in the evening and wants to get some friends together for dinner.
Im not sure what Stephens time is like but Id like to try and find time to hang out with him as well or at least see if perhaps he wants to join me for some of the stuff above. Hopefully we will find some time.

Pirates Invade Powerhouse
Friday night I helped with an event at Powerhouse called Jolly Ho. It was a pirate themed event that seemed to work.
I had no idea what I was going to do about a costume but somehow managed to put something together. Apparently I looked good because I got lots of compliments and lots of attention.
It may have been the outfit, it may have been the leather vest with my chest exposed, or perhaps because I was having fun selling jello shots and applying temporary tattoos on hot men in various places of their bodies.
I'd also like to mention the company I kept that night. Ross and Jose were great to help out with. Lots of positive energy and they really seemed to enjoy putting on the event.
Sunday was the beginning of leather week. The pride flag taken down and the leather flag was raised above Castro. I had brunch with my friend Phil and a friend of his who were in town for the night. I missed the raising of the leather flag but enjoyed seeing Phil again.
After brunch Phil and his friend left back to southern CA and I was able to catch the beginning of the leather walk. Small parade going down Market and ending at the Eagle (which is where I would be heading in a few hours for beer bust).
Beer bust was a good time. Lots of friends and all of us were doing lots of naughty stuff. Lots of great pictures too but some will remain un posted. For those who want to see, email me and Ill send you a link.
As for today, its Wednesday. Jarrod and Lonnie arrive in town tomorrow and Ill be off till Tuesday. Folsom is this weekend and it promises to be busy but a great time to look forward to.

SF Leather Daddys boy contest
Last night was the SF Leather Daddys boy contest. I entered.
Although I didnt win, I must say it was a great experience for me. I knew from the start that there were more deserving boys up there than me, and I had the mind set that any one of them would be fantastic in the role. This made it easier to go through the motions and be ok with the results. I also pondered the idea of commitment and wasnt sure if I wanted that kind of commitment just yet.
It also put me out there, on stage (half naked I might add), to be seen by the leather community as a serious boy who wants to be involved and wants to help where and when I can. I still plan on doing those same things. I met some great people along the way, and had a fantastic time doing it.
Im really glad spunky encouraged me to run. Thank you spunky, I appreciate everything.
On a fantastic note, I received lots of compliments on how I did and found out I raised the most in the sale of raffle tickets which is what the benefit is about. Its the sale of raffle tickets that go to the AIDS Emergency fund and its nice to know I helped in that respect too. With that, my thanks to my good friend Rob, who held my bucket, collected the money, and followed me around while I got on my knees over and over again measuring inseems.
My thanks to all of my friends who were there to support me. Rick, Kenji, Rob K, Matt, Jason, Luis, and many others. I was glad you were there. You really helped make my night what it was.
After the contest we went to Powerhouse and I came up with this analogy of friendship (of course I was drunk at the time and throwing ice cubes at Rob and Jason). Friends are like ice cubes and the scotch only as good as the trick who you meet one night. The scotch will go but when it does, friendships will still be left over.
Ok so there are some flaws but what I am getting at, is knowing I have a lot of ice cubes in my life. Thanks guys. You're all the best.
