My Trip Days 1-3

So my flight to Rochester was good. I was fortunate to have 2 good people sitting with me on both the trip to DFW and to Rochester. The trip to Rochester had a hot guy who actually made conversation with me. Of course he kept mentioning his girlfriend lol.

I arrived in town Friday night and Kym picked me up. She looks great. I came back to see Stan, Marc, and Reid. Then the drinking started. I went over to Tara first which was a waste with the exception of seeing a couple of people I liked. There wasnt many people there and was as scary as everyone had said it was.

Saturday we went shopping for the BBQ. My sister came down with my niece and nephew, and my dad came up with his wife. It was good seeing them and getting to spend some time with them. Nadine came over as well who I have to say, looks fantastic.

That evening I went to the womens chorus concert and Kym had her solo. She was awesome and as soon as I can get the video reduced in size, Ill upload it to youtube. After the concert, it was barnight so I had my leather on. It was great because most people who apparently dont come out anymore, were out. I forgot that some people existed and was pleasantly surprised to see them. Insert another drunk night.

Last night I went to visit Jason (my little sister) at the bar. He started working again at Tara. There was only about 7 of us there but we were all good friends, and had a blast. Of course Jason fed me lots of shots and was drinking vodka cranberry all night for nearly nothing. Richard (Jasons psycho ex from about 5 years ago), kept coming in to stalk him. Ive been hearing how bad he looked through other people and the crank really has gotten to him. Still as dumb as ever and I came near to ripping his throat out. I think my barking scared him a bit (as well as many people who arent used to hearing me bark lol).

So thats been my weekend so far. Tonight I think Ill go out drinking lol. I have to meet some old coworkers for happy hour and then a few more friends to see late night. Im going to be a mess again.

Some pictures so far on flickr

Second Date and stuff

I had a second date last night with Alan who I met at Eagle beer bust 2 weeks ago. I really like him despite our different sexual interests and relationship views. I told him that I wore my cowboy hat out Friday night and apparently how popular I was (people approaching me left and right). He said I looked like Kenny Chesney with it on. I never heard of him and don't see the resemblance but hey, it was a compliment.

Friday was fun. Matt and I tore up the Castro and started our venture at Moby Dicks and The Midnight Sun. We determined these two places for us are like olives for me and banana bread for him. We know we don't like it but have to try it again every so often just to make sure we still don't like it. We continued to Edge and 440. I had a guy approach me as I was leaving. "are you leaving? I was hoping to get a chance to meet you". I also had a guy follow me into the bathroom and start masterbating next to me. I met a few more guys who caught my interest and finally at closing, Matt and I accepted a ride up the hill from a guy who doesn't work if he doesn't have to, who was heading to End Up, and mentioned he had some drugs if we wanted to go. Our quick answer? "we're going home".

Today Eagle beer bust is sponsored by the Sisters. Ill be there for sure.

Work has been fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a more fitting job and the amnities are exactly what I wanted. The people are great and I have beer Fridays again. Feeding me beer during my last half hour of work could be dangerous lol.

A Super Hero Day

So Sunday was the day! John and I planned on getting dressed in our spandex suits. Me in my Aquaman, and he in his black striped suit. I was up early, showered, and out the door to meet him by 9. We had about 6 of us who were heading to see Spiderman 3 on the IMAX and then over to the Castro Patrol fundraiser at truck which had a superhero theme. Couldnt beat those two things back to back.

First breakfast with John, Scott, Kenji, and myself. We grabbed a bite at Orphan Andys and headed to the theater. kenji went home and was planning on meeting us at the party later.

At the theater, it was spunky, Jason, Ian, John, Scotty, and myself. I thought the movie was great with a few exceptions. I agreed with some of the reviews about the earlier fight scenes being too close up and too distracting to the point I couldnt really see what was happening. Despite that, I enjoyed the story line and enjoyed the villans more than they gave credit for.

After the movie, we headed over to Truck. Truck just opened about a month ago and they were hosting a fund raiser for Castro on Patrol. The theme was superheros abd because John and I both volunteer, we thought it would be fun to show up and support the group. Although the bar was smaller than I expected, it still felt pretty easy to get a drink, get outside to smoke, and mingle with people I enjoy. Although I dont really think its a leather bar, I did manage to see a lot of people from the leather community there to support it. There were also lots of great superhero costumes from 2 Green Lanterns, a couple of Batmans, Superman, Flash the bartender, and I didnt get this one till kenji told me, One guy was The First Slayer (from Buffy).

Ian, Jason, and I left around 7:30. I didnt want to be in that area after dark and riding BART with an Aquaman outfit on. I got a lot of attention, a lot of looks, a lot of people wanting their picture with me. I felt like a celebrity and desperately craved my normal life at the end of the day. I stopped at Edge for a quickie and the Daddys, and finally home.

This morning I start my new job. What a great way to begin a new week.

Oh and thank you John for my first 3 comics of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 8 (in comic form). WOOF!
