Questions?
Is it still spontaneous if you plan to be spontaneous? hmmmmm
Interesting evening last night. To start with, I stopped by my old employer to visit some old friends and co-workers. There was one in particular who I wanted to see and I found out he went out to work in the marketing office in Walnut Creek. I had worked a few days out there and know the folks a little so I sent him a quick email saying hi.
He emailed me back and after going back and forth a few times, he mentioned that they were looking for help out there. Ive been looking to get into a marketing field for a while now since I realized where I would like to go with my life. Ive been unhappy with my new job and loved the people at the old place. I just felt I needed to move in a different direction than working in a call center.
So my delima is this. If I persue this (and saying it happens), I would be commuting to Walnut Creek every day which shaves about 3 hours off my day with commute. I would be spending about $120 more in travel expenses. I am already up early so the commute in wouldnt really effect me but the commute back would bring me back into the city around 6:30. I get done some weeks now around 6 so it wouldnt really be too much different except I have a hard time pushing myself at the gym. The positive side is I could actually be doing a job that I would enjoy, with people I like, and a company I like which could lead me to a stronger career in photography. Ill have to give it some thought but not for too long.
I would love to hear others opinions.

Switching
So recently Ive been getting to know my more dominant side and switching roles. Its funny how many doors open with just a change from bottom to top, sub to dom, boy to Sir, baby to Daddy.
Today I started the day with John picking me up around 10:30 and we headed down to Hayes Valley to meet sukk and spunky. The meeting was to discuss being a submissive switch in the leather community and what exactly our roles were. The question that seemed to come up what "What do we get out of it?". We talked a bit about how a submissive really does get to call some shots, and the concept of other Sirs who think that they can throw orders just because you are a sub. I may be a boy, but Im not *your* boy.
With that said, we also discussed switching roles. I brought up my new found interests and it was nice to have friends around me who dont judge me based on my experience in the scene. I can ask questions, and not be made to feel any less of a person because I dont know. I learned a long time ago fear in asking, usually ends up in stupidity.
After the meeting, we swung by my place and I picked up Zim. The 3 of us went back to John's house and watched the first few episodes. John and Spunky had never seen it and sukk and I were revisiting our love for the show again. There are so many references that I still get by watching the cartoon that are definitely adult in content but subtle enough to go over any kids head. I now know that a SIR is also a thermos.
Finally we ended up at the Eagle Beer Bust being sponsored by Cheer SF. We met up with Daddy Richard, and Ace showed up briefly. I have no idea where he ran off to.
We all did some playing in weird roles, and as Daddy Richard put it once it felt like a Star Trek/Buffy alternate reality episode where the subs were getting dominant. sukk licked my boots and we made everyone who walked by us pet the puppy. It was great hanging out with him more. He's a great guy and I always enjoy seeing him.
Finally I met a guy at random (go figure shy ole me). He's cute and I actually made a date with him for Thursday. Im excited and cant wait

A Really Great Day in the Life
So I havent really posted much lately. Its been a busy week and the time Ive had to relax, Ive been doing just that. I went out more than I should have this week but its all good. I called in sick on Wednesday basically because Ive been so stressed with work, and I realized, Ive actually taken sick days because I was actually sick, and havent had a day off for me since New Years. It was needed and over due. Im really anxious to get back to Rochester and Chicago in May to unwind and recharge.
Today was a great day. I finally got my Invader Zim volumes I, II, & III and have been watching volume I Doom Doom Doom. I just cant get tired of Zim and absolutely adore GIR.
On the same note of Zim, I found a T-Shirt that I absolutely want. I forgot how many piggish references are out there and the T-Shirt says "Prepare you bladder for imminent release". Its so gonna be mine.
Today was the best though and not just because of Zim. John and I started out with breakfast at Bagdad. The weather was great and it was nice to be out in the sun with a tank top getting some color. While sitting down at Bagdad, I noticed a guys sitting there at one of the tables who looked familiar. I finally placed him as an old friend from Rochester whom I hadnt seen in about 4 years. I actually had to ask if it was him because its been so long. Sure enough, he is here visiting and lives in NYC now. How funny running into people you know out of the blue like that.
On another note, John got his new camera (which I have to say, he got a fantastic camera at a fantastic price), so we headed with cameras in hand to the Botanical Gardens at Golden Gate Park. I have never been there and the avid photographer in me, who loves photographing landscapes, places of interest, and flowers, has been wanting to make it there for quite some time.
I have to say, it was more than I expected. I got some really good pictures and had a great time with John.
He left to head to the gym and I came home for a bit. I actually tried to make plans to have *cough* company, but when I got home Josh was here so it would have been tough to have someone over. Not that Josh would have minded but it would have just been awkward. So I called the guy and asked if we could do it another time, and explained the situation. He ended up inviting me over to his house. We had fun, I put him in diapers, babied him, tied him up a bit, and really got off on being called Daddy. I mean I REALLY got off on it. I now know that I do have it in me and owe it to myself to explore it more. Its really weird how strong my Daddy side has been on.
With that, I changed my recon profile from 80 passive/20 agressive to 60/40. I ended up chatting with a hot guy who apparently is looking for a sub/top to explore some things with. He feels more comfortable with other subs and wants more of an alpha to explore with. To take it one step further, he's hot, knows a good friend of mine (who gives him high regards), and wants to come visit. Im all for that and spending some time as the Sir. hmmm... my own collared boy. WOOF
Anyway, thats been my day. Ill be heading out tonight for a few drinks at the Powerhouse. Its been a while since Ive been there.

Charlie Ross-One Man Star Wars Trilogy

Thanks to sukk and we talked with him on the way to MUNI. He agreed on how great the show was, and Im pretty comfortable saying we would all recommend seeing it.
throbbin. A guy approached us and his opening line was "youre going to do what to him?", speaking to throbbin quickly answered I dont do anything with people like that. The guy ran off quickly but not before saying "you just have that look". Now I know why we are approached by tweekers.
Needless to say I came home shortly afterwards and have to say, Ive had one of the best nights sleep in a while. Its Friday and going to be a great day. Tonight is pup patrol with throbbin, and I. Should be howling good time. WOOF
