Grandmas House we go

So we are off and running. Josh woke up early for a change (before me actually) and we were actually showered and out the door by 12:30. Impressive for us on most occassions but there are a few.

We had a nice talk about us and things that have come up along the way. A really positive talk which helped both of us in many ways understand each other a bit better. We are going to try and set time aside to talk about issues more so that we can resolve them (in most cases) and not let them build into such huge ordeals.

We stopped at a plaza in Natomas and checked out Ross. I really love that store. I was looking at jackets and clothes however the jackets were either too much money for me (the leathers I was looking at) or they made me look straight. That just wouldnt due.

Its funny how looks change on a person. I never looked good in leather but when I was younger, I looked great in suede. Now things have changed so it seems. Basic leather looks good on me and I want one with a passion.

Anyway, I was looking for two reasons. One I was looking at jackets because I wanted to find something perhaps warm enough for NY (yeah that may be a stretch), but also something light enough for the Bay Area. Believe it or not, it does get chilly here and we've had days that didnt get over 55 degrees. Its definitely jacket weather.

I was also looking at clothes thinking I needed a new wardrobe to go back home with. It just wouldnt look good to wear the same clothes I left in (I think thats a billy thing lol). I didnt find anything in my size that appealed to me.

We left, checked out Michaels next door and headed on our way to Roseville again. We arrived around 3:30 and it was a bit uncomfortable. I guess its always uncomfortable around someone elses family especially when grandma is talking about politics and how she is a democrat *and* a christian, which most people have a hard time with. She told us how she voted for Kerry and all her friends were mad at her *chuckle*. Then in the same conversation, she proceeded to tell us that she is against homosexuality and believes in the morals of the bible. Although she is a wonderful woman, I couldnt imagine growing up here.

We ate, we went shopping at yet another Ross here in Roseville. Here I found a couple of new shirts which are fantastic and I cant wait to wear. Josh's friend Gregory stopped over and visited for a while. I fell asleep from exhaustion only to wake up to Gregory leaving. I feel bad because I was just too tired but I guess we cant fight our bodies.

On to sleep until morning.
